Possibly one of my biggest struggles is staying present. I always seem to be reflecting on the past or planning for the future.
Something that always reconnects me to the present and makes me grateful to be living in the now is the ocean.
Literally the second my toes touch the water I feel a spark of joy. When I am in the water, I can just focus on treading water, swimming, breathing, and the incredible other-worldly beauty of the ocean.
I feel so much gratitude it’s kind of insane. As corny as it may sound, my heart literally feels like it might burst with appreciation and love and joy. Every time I leave, I feel refreshed, inspired, and like everything is going to be ok.
